If by some miracle you have the cable that came with your camera, good to go. Over the years Canon has changed exactly what kind of USB cable is needed for this so I can’t tell you which one you will need for your specific Canon model. You are trying to get the “EOS Webcam Utility” to work and if the “EOS Utility” program is running it won’t. One is called “EOS Utility” and the other is called “EOS Webcam Utility”.
